Cougar G800 GX-Series 800W Power Supply Review

In this hot load test we take the PSU out of an ideal scenario and put it in a more realistic one, the PSU has to work in an ambient temperature of around 40^oC which is much higher than the temperature of a case. This tests the quality of the unit- temperatures that high are very unforgiving!

The hot load test was equally impressive, with a minimal change from the cold load test which indicates that Cougar designed this power supply to operate smoothly at higher temperatures, yet another sign of a high quality construction.
