Cougar Gemini T RGB Glass-Wing PC Case Review

How Much Does it Cost?

At £129.96 the Cougar Gemini T Mid-Tower Gaming PC Case is pretty decent value for money. Sure, it’s not overly cheap, but factor in the size of this thing and you have to accept a bigger cost on materials. There’s a lot of tempered glass here, and that unique “wings” design on the side panel glass is really cool. It’s competitive against similar spec mid-towers though, and actually cheaper than some of its big rivals.

Overview

Cougar continues to impress me with their products. Over the years, they’ve made some really unique and great performing products, and also backed them up with competitive prices. Power supplies, peripherals, cases, there’s a lot of cool products in their range. The Gemini T is just different enough to stand out from the crowd though, and I think that’s going to be its most appealing feature.

Design

There are countless cases out there that simply have glass panels stuck on the side and an RGB fan. Heck, most of those are older cases that have been retrofitted with glass and new fans then stuck back on the market. Cougar has clearly gone back and made something from scratch and it really shows. The integration of RGB is really quite unique, and while it may not be to everyone’s taste, at least they’re doing it their way.

The tempered glass side/front panel thing is pretty cool too. The fact it overhangs at the front to allow for good airflow is pretty clever. Plus, with those clip-in dust filters on the front, it’s going to be easy to maintain and keep your system nice and clean too.

Hardware

It’s not just a fancy looking case either, it’s very capable on the interior. There’s the PSU shroud, which is always a welcome addition for me. Plus, removable 3.5″ bays, removable 2.5″ drive mounts, large rubber grommets, removable glass panel hinges, and there are the extensive radiator and fan mounts too. It’s ticking all the right boxes for any enthusiast PC build.

Should I Buy One?

The Cougar Gemini T is pretty big for a mid-tower, but it does afford you a lot of options. High-end hardware support is pretty much perfect, and it’s well suited to both air or liquid-cooled builds. However, it looks really unique and unlike anything else on the market, and for that, we love it!
