Ripple

On the whole, the ripple results are as exactly as expected with the vast majority of scores being very low and in the single digits. Well, before the decimal point anyway.

We did, however, nothing something very strange. At both 20% and 60% loads, the 12V ripple threw up some very inconsistent and much higher than normal results. Normal being based on the other scores achieved in the test.

This was a matter of curiosity, but even then, the highest score achieved is still comfortably below the maximum allowed under EU standards. Quite frankly though, based on the other scores, we think that this is more of a quirk than a factor. Put simply, sometimes weird things happen!
