Cougar has today introduced its new MX600 RGB PC case as an evolution of the compact-footprint tower concept that redefines cooling and ventilation.
The MX600 RGB is a full tower case coming in at 235 x 515 x 478 (mm WxHxD), which features ventilation on all visible sides aiding towards optimal air intake and efficient air circulation. Each of these vents is protected by five strategically placed dust filters to ensure the dust intake is minimal. Available in black and white, the case follows the overall design aesthetics of many modern cases with sharper edges and squared vents for a more minimalist aesthetic. The front I/O of this case is well equipped featuring a Type-C port, two USB 3.0 ports, a headset audio jack and an RGB button.
The case comes pre-installed with three 140mm PWM fans in the front panel with a maximum capacity of 9 fans overall. Users can also equip up to a 360mm radiator in the top and front. Installing fans and radiators is quite easy with the front fan bracket not requiring the removal of the front panel.
Support for hardware is strong with room for up to E-ATX motherboards, 400MM of GPU room, 180mm of CPU cooler height and 180mm of PSU room. The PSU installation is also very easy thanks to the detachable PSU cabin cover providing more room to work with when routing cables. Storage support is solid with room for up to 3 2.5″ drives and one 3.5″ drive bay which can be used for a 4th 2.5″ drive.
