Cougar has recently announced a new product called the Solution, a mid-tower ATX chassis focusing on design, convenience and effectiveness at an affordable price point.
With a black coating, both in and out, as well as its rugged design and honey-comb mesh hybrid intake, you get a solid and stable chassis to install your components as well as an effective cooling.
Cooling is taken to a high level, with the possibility to install up to 8 fan, a simple and easy cable management system as well as vented PCIe slots and holes for water-cooling hoses, Cougar is aiming at providing the solution to hardcore gamers and enthusiasts alike.
Internal components are well taken care of, Cougar, being a power supply specialist, places your PSU on the bottom with fan filters to avoid it from getting dirty. Graphics card as long as 320 mm can be housed in, a large cut out on the motherboard tray has been placed to ease the swapping between coolers, as well as a simple tool-less design has been integrated to facilitate installation further.
Optical drives and HDD drives do feature a screw-less installation design, however not all bays are covered; out of the three 5.25″ external and six 3.5″ internal, only two 5.25″ and HDD bays feature screw-less design. Additionally, you can find room for one external 3.5″ drive and one internal 2.5″ drive, but while the former features a screw-less design too, the latter doesn’t.
Connectivity includes one USB 3.0 and one USB 2.0 as well as microphone and audio ports.
Price and availability haven’t been mentioned.
