Cougar MX410-G RGB Mid-Tower Case Review

How Much Does it Cost?
Despite having four built-in RGB 120mm fans, and a fan and RGB controlling hub, and tempered glass, this case is extremely affordable. It’ll set you back a wallet friendly, £44, or at least a price very close to that. That’s insanely good value for money, and you can easily pay that for the fans along, let alone a full case too!
Overview
I’ll admit, this case isn’t perfect, and there are some things done to ensure it can be kept affordable. The rear I/O guards are those nasty snap-off things, which I hate. However, if you’re only building the PC once, it doesn’t really matter. The front panel is plastic, which isn’t as nice as the side glass, but again, it’s hardly a deal-breaker. I’d say the right-side panel is quite thin too, but at this price, I think that’s to be expected.
Build Quality
Minor issues aside, the build quality is very good overall. The case feels robust, and the addition of the PSU shroud really helps give things a more rigid feel. Add to that a lovely tempered glass side panel window with screws at the rear, and it certainly looks and feels more premium. I even like the finish on the plastics, it is a cheaper material, but it has quality finish to it. I’m also very impressed to see a front panel dust filter, a clip-in PSU dust filter, and a magnetic dust filter on the top. The addition of four great quality RGB fans and a hub is really impressive.
Performance
It may be a cheaper case, but Cougar has done a lot of work here to make it look and feel much more expensive. I honestly don’t know how they’ve done it, as the fans alone can cost as much as this whole case does. The addition of the controller and the tempered glass are just icing on the cake.
Should I Buy One?
If you’re looking for a compact, stylish and very affordable PC case that doesn’t compromise on cool features and aesthetics, the Cougar MX410-G RGB is an excellent option. Highly recommended!
