Cougar MX660 Mesh RGB E-ATX Case Review

Cougar has long been growing in popularity and based on my previous reviews, it’s easy to see why. They’ve delivered power supplies, peripherals, PC cases and much more over the years, and we’ve proudly put awards on them many times too. They’re a very well focused gaming brand, and often come in at very competitive prices compared to some of the more established names too. Their new MX660 Mesh RGB looks set to be a welcome addition to the enthusiast PC case market.

Cougar MX660 Mesh RGB

Cougar is one of my all-time favourite brands for PC cases, as they usually hit all the features I desire, but their designs are just a little more aggressive and original, without going too extreme and making them look silly. The same appears to be true for the new Cougar MX660 Mesh RGB, a feature-packed E-ATX PC case. It comes with all the features you could ask for, starting with a high-airflow design and three gorgeous pre-installed ARGB fans. Furthermore, it comes with a built-in ARGB hub, so syncing everything will be a breeze. Add to that all the usual modern PC case luxuries, such as a PSU shroud, dust filters, vertical GPU mounting, plenty of cable routing space, extensive radiator/fan support, and so much more!

Features

  • E-ATX motherboard support
  • Plentiful SSD/HDD mounts
  • 7+2 expansion slots
  • Vertical GPU support
  • Tempered Glass window
  • Full-mesh front panel
  • Supports up to 8 fans
  • Three ARGB VK120 Fans included
  • Built-in ARGB 5v hub

What Cougar Had to Say

“MX660 Mesh RGB is an upgraded mid-tower case, which continues COUGAR’s iconic style. The massive mesh front panel with folding angles provides better airflow performance. With three ARGB VK120 fans and a crystal clear tempered glass left panel, you are freely to create a clear view of your computer’s internal components. MX660 Mesh RGB’s front panel combines with COUGAR’s industrial style and powerful airflow. Not only make sure your critical hardware can be maximum cooled, but also help you to create an impressive build! The integrated lighting button and ARGB VK120 fans with built-in LED controller, allows MX660 Mesh RGB to display amazing lighting effects. It’s also adaptable with any compatible motherboards’ 5V ARGB connection for system-wide lighting synchronization. The powerful lights come out of a stylish panel, and the reflective surroundings helps reinforce the RGB effects.” – Cougar
