Cougar NxSys Aero Gaming Chair Featuring Integrated Cooling For Sweaty Gamers

Cougar has today released a new gaming chair which comes with integrated cooling because sometimes you need the cooling more than your PC does.

Cougar NxSys Aero Gaming Chair

The NxSys Aero Gaming Chair is a gaming chair with all the standard features of a gaming chair with its bucket seat design but comes with the big selling point of a mesh back with an integrated 200mm RGB fan for active cooling during long gaming sessions. This fan circulates cool air onto your back keeping you much cooler during intense and competitive games. A power back situated in a discreet slot at the back with internal wiring is used to power the fan so you won’t have to worry about messy wires. The speed and RGB lighting of the fan is adjusted by the flick of a switch within reach of your fingertips.

Ergonomics and Comfort

The chair itself is fitted with breathable premium PVC leather to enhance the breathability focus of the chair, the mesh for the fan also definitely aids in providing a more comfortable and floaty feel. The chair features a physiotherapy-grade lumbar pillow for targeted support to the lower back whilst a magnetic head cushion can be precisely placed for head comfort. The chair also offers various adjustment controls with height and for the backrest.

Gaming chairs aren’t all bad, though it’s always best to use caution when buying anything “gaming” branded though to be fair, caution is best for buying any chair. The inclusion of a mesh back is something I do like in a chair and the 200mm fan does seem to hit a bit of a niche market of people with sweaty backs. Personally, a fan on the seat itself may be a good idea as well.

Features

  • Cold Fusion
The integrated 200 mm RGB fan is the revolutionary heart of the NxSys Aero, circulating cool air within the chair and directing the airflow towards your back, making sure you literally don’t break a sweat even at your highest energy levels.
  • Air Bender
The NxSys Aero introduces a new level of comfort by harnessing the air itself. Unlike traditional backrests, a hollow space between the innovative elastomeric mesh and specially ventilated back cover acts as adaptive cushioning that makes you feel like you’re floating on air.
  • Back to the Future
A physiotherapy-grade lumbar pillow provides targeted support to the lower back to reduce strain and encourage healthy posture, while a magnetic head cushion can be precisely placed for optimal comfort.
  • Plug And Play
The RGB fan stays connected to the NxSys Aero’s discreetly placed power bank slot through internal wiring: no more cord mess.
  • Switch It Up
Take control of your gaming experience: easily adjust the speed settings of the RGB fan and fine-tune the lighting to your liking with the flick of a switch, all at your fingertips.
  • Scalloped Bucket Seat
The high density foam seat is more gently scalloped than the angled flanks on conventional bucket-style seats, providing a wider support area and more robust cushioning.
  • Breathable Premium Upholstery
The NxSys Aero is fitted in premium PVC leather, specially selected for its supple texture and excellent breathability, letting air pass through so you stay fresh and comfortable.
