Cougar added a new mouse to their lineup and they called it the Revenger which also kind of reveals its usage purpose of gaming. The Cougar Revenger comes equipped with great hardware, it looks pretty comfortable too, and it is equipped with two-zone illumination.
Inside the Cougar Revenger is a state-of-the-art 3360 PMW sensor, the 12,000 DPI precision rating is set to deliver unrivalled accuracy and maximum consistency whether you are scrolling through a multi-screen setup or making razor sharp movements on a 4K display. While using a proper mouse pad is recommended at all times, the Revenger will work on pretty much any surface, whether it is wood, steel, plastic or fabric. the advanced tracking capability that the Revenger has to offer.
Movement and the sensor are just one side of a mouse, and the Revenger does this great with its 1000Hz polling rate and 1ms response rate. Another side to a mouse are the buttons and Cougar also opted for quality here with OMRON switches that are rated for up to 5 million clicks.
It also features a gaming-grade scroll wheel with tactile feedback, an anti-slip surface for consistent grip, and an ergonomic trigger.
RGB backlighting of everything seems to be in at the moment and as such, the Revenger will fit in nicely. The 2-zone illumination functionality that the Revenger brings to the table allows gamers to mix and match their lighting scheme for whichever game they wish to configure with 16.8 million colours.
Naturally, the Revenger works with Cougar’s UIX software and it comes with 512KB of onboard memory which allows you to take up to 3 unique profiles with you on-the-go. Combined with programmable buttons with direct access to macros and shortcuts, along with 21 different functions will make the Cougar Revenger a great gaming partner.
