Cougar Reveal “VR Ready” Chassis at Computex

Cougar is well known for their gaming hardware, but it’s their latest two chassis that caught our attention. Equipped with a super aggressive gaming design, a huge side panel window and more, the Panzer Max Full-Tower certainly stands out from the crowd, but it has a few interesting tricks at its disposal.

First up, powerful LED fans pre-installed, with ample ventilation and room for four radiators (front, top, rear and bottom), with 360mm support in the top and front.

A well equipped front panel with a built-in fan controller.

Sturdy top panel handles allowing you to pick it up easily, handy for LAN gamers, but be warned, this is a full-tower, so it’s not going to be light. There’s also a good amount of clearance here, which Cougar say is perfect for sitting your keyboard on top, making that easier to transport with it!

Tool-free side panels.

Room for the largest GPUs on the market, as well as E-ATX motherboards.

Rear hard drive mounts for a nice clean build, as well as a special scoop that directs some airflow behind the motherboard to keep them nice and cool.

Other cool features include QI charging built-in to the top panel and a removable headset mount, handy for your Oculus or Vive (that’s the only way we can see this being “VR Ready” so take that badge with a pinch of salt.

Then we have other Panzer model which doesn’t have the handles or QI charge, but does have a lovely tempered glass side panel and still packs mighty hardware support.

The latest model of their ever-popular QBX, the QBX Kaze, which has impressive airflow, and a stylish and compact design for mini-ITX motherboards, with impressive GPU support of up to 350mm.

Their new budget-friendly MX-310 mid-tower, fairly standard design, with good airflow, dual fan controllers and a handy top panel charging port and storage area for mobile devices.
