Cougar Reveals MX330-G Pro Mid-Tower Case

Cougar has today revealed its MX330-G Pro Mid-Tower Case with the ancient feature a 5.25-inch drive bay.

Cougar MX330-G PRO

The MX330-G Pro is a new Mid-Tower case from Cougar that offers all the standards you’d expect from a modern PC case as well as those you’d expect in a PC case from 2012 as it features a 5.25″ drive bay in the front. This included drive bay is designed to offer minimal intrusion into the case as it uses just a small stub for the installation of the front screws which can be removed if required. The covers for the drive-bays are designed to match the fully mesh front panel and blend neatly in when not in use.

Compatibility And Cooling

The MX330-G Pro features the standard case design with room for up to an ATX motherboard with a max CPU cooler height of 160mm and room for up to 365mm of graphics card. For storage it has its single 5.25″ bay as well as two 3.5″ slots and three 2.5″ slots. When it comes to cooling the case features a single 120mm fan installed in the rear and has room for up to three 120mm or 140mm fans in the front and three 120mm or two 140mm in the top. These fan sizes allow for up to 360mm radiators to be installed in the top or front which will require the 5.25″ mount to be removed.

Front I/O and Expansion

The Cougar MX330-G Pro features a fairly comprehensive I/O with 2x USB 3.0, 1x USB 2.0, 1x USB Type C Gen 2, 1x audio jack as well as the power and reset buttons. To expand this with expansion cards there is 7 expansion slots in the rear of the case which look to be snappable rather than screwed.

Where Can I Learn More?

Cougar hasn’t revealed any pricing however you can learn more about the MX330-G Pro on the product page here.
