Fan Speed
I’m just going to say it, the way the fan works on this power supply is more than a little weird. Starting off at around 800RPM at 20% load, we found that, although by small margins, this decreased as higher-power outputs were taken. Usually, just in case you didn’t know, this works the other way around.
Now, admittedly, at a glance at our chart, it does seem that the fan runs at a consistent speed. In addition, I should highlight that I’m not concerned about this in the slightest.
When I consistently saw the fan speed drop as I upped the power, however, it certainly made me raise an eye-brow. It’s not bad, but it’s definitely bizarre!
