Crash Bandicoot 4 Coming to PC – Requirements Revealed

It’s a great start to the weekend, as we discover that Activision has announced Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time is heading to PC this month. And, well… It’s about time! Of course, this follows on from the fantastic success of the trilogy remaster that I still haven’t been able to complete. Seriously, I don’t remember the games being that hard!

Fortunately, it’ll be easier to get the game running than it will be to complete it as PC gamers will only need an Intel Core i3-4340 or AMD FX-6300 with 8GB of RAM. Furthermore, a modest GPU such as the GTX 660 or the AMD Radeon HD 7950 will cover the graphics side. Unfortunately, they don’t say what frame rate or resolution you can expect with those components.

It’s recommended that you have an AMD Ryzen 5 1600X or Intel Core i5-2500K, which is to say any modern quad-core or above should do just fine. You’ll also need at least 16GB of RAM, and an Nvidia GTX 970 or AMD R9 390, so even those of you still waiting to upgrade should be ok this time around. The game also requires at least 30GB of free hard-disk space.

About the Game

It’s About Time – for a brand-wumping new Crash Bandicoot game! Crash fourward into a time-shattered adventure with your favorite marsupials.

Neo Cortex and N. Tropy are back at it again and launching an all-out assault on not just this universe, but the entire multiverse! Crash and Coco are here to save the day by reuniting the Four Quantum masks and bending the rules of reality.

New abilities? Check. More playable characters? Yep. Alternate dimensions? Obviously. Ridonkulous bosses? For sure. Same awesome sauce? You bet your sweet jorts. Wait, are they actually jorts? Not in this universe!
