Creative 2c Wireless Speakers With Stereo Pairing Review

Final Thoughts

Price

The Creative Muvo 2c is available directly from the Creative web store for a very reasonable £39.99, and is available in a range of colours to suit your taste. It does seem a little more expensive that other products on the market, but keep in mind this is a trusted and decades old brand, not one of the no-name import products that seem to have flooded the market; you get what you pay for.

Overview

The mobile audio market is pretty saturated with products these days, with seemingly every brand putting speakers like this to market at very competitive prices. You’ll often find a lot of these brands are names you’ve never heard of, or from companies that don’t exactly have a history of audio products, usually putting their name on one of the previously mentioned imports. With that in mind, Creative have been making audio products for as long as I can remember, and they’ve rarely, if ever, disappointed in terms of audio and build quality. The same is true of the Muvo 2c, and while it may be a small and portable speaker, it still packs a mighty punch in terms of acoustic performance and the build quality is what you would expect from any premium brand.

The Muvo 2c is great for those who need something extremely portable. It’s small enough to fit into your bag and leave it there, take it with you on days out, or even just snug it onto a shelve or your desk at home. The excellent connectivity options it offers mean that there are few devices out which won’t work with it and few places that you couldn’t actually use it, especially since it’s splash proof too, it could easily survive a day by the pool or at the beach.

I love the performance of this speaker, but the added bonus of being able to pair to of them together is simply awesome. Being able to use the pair as wireless PC speakers, or just give your music that extra kick when you’re at home, even splitting your music between two areas, such as one speaker in the garden, another in the kitchen, it’s a very nice feature to have.

Pros

  • Durable build quality
  • Splash-proof design
  • Impressive bass response
  • Powerful max value
  • Stereo pairing
  • Excellent connectivity
  • 6-hour battery life

Cons

  • None

Neutral

  • Price may seem high due to cheap import brands flooding market

“The Muvo 2c may be small, but it packs a huge range of practical features that make it great for use at home, in the office, or even while you’re on holiday. If you’re looking for punchy volume, plenty of features and excellent portability, you’ll find them all in the 2c.”
