If you love your music and audio on PC, then it’s likely you’ve used Creative products at some point in your life. Their last few years have been smash hit products, one after the other. 2019 looks set to continue that trend. First up, their SoundBlasterX G6 amplifier improves on last years model in every way possible. It now works with consoles and PC, as well as mobile. It can power up to 600 Ohm headphones. Then it has a new Bi-Amplifier design, 32Bit support, DSD support, Dolby Audio and the list just keeps on going.
We demoed this on the new H6 headset too. This comes with new 50mm drivers, their new detachable noise reducing Clearcomms mic, built-in EQ modes, ambient monitoring, RGB lighting, and more.
Think they’re tapped out there? Hell no. If you want to go even more high-end, and I’m sure you do, there’s the AE-9. This PCIe soundcard ticks all the audiophile boxes. Again, you have DSD audio, a 129 dBa DAC, virtual surround, DTS, Dolby, and a wealth of other processing technologies. However, the coolest thing is this external hub, which offers all the inputs and outputs within easy reach, as well as master EQ and volume controls.
