Creative has absolutely nailed the box design, with vibrant colours and a super clear and detailed image of the headset. We can see the headphones, microphone, LED lighting, and that it has Super X-Fi. Oh and 23 Best of CES awards, I wonder where they got THIS one. Sure, that was 2 years ago, but it’s not like we’ve had a trade show since then!
Around the back, its information galore, with details on the microphone, LED lighting, drivers, Super X-Fi profiles, Bluetooth and more. All the technical information is on the sides of the box too, so there’s really nothing left to the imagination.
The box is durable cardboard, with dual layers to keep everything well protected.
Under the top cover, there’s a starter pack that will help you set up the mobile app. This is very important, you absolutely do need a smartphone for the initial setup of SXFI, so please pay attention to this document. You need to take photos of your ears and face so it can map the shape to create an audio profile (very clever stuff!).
Once you’ve done the SXFI setup in the app, it’s time to reach for the headset. It’s well protected in a plastic mould that keeps everything from moving around.
There’s a secondary box in the box too.
Open it up, and you’ll find their latest microphone neatly secured. There’s also all the audio cables and charging cables in here, giving you everything you need to get set up.
