Test Setup
[COLOR=#000000]For our testing aspect of this review, we as always use the same consistent hardware components throughout our testing phase to give the most accurate results for comparison purposes. This results in a fair test across the board and gives room for very little error.
We test the memory against various other memory including some similar contenders from different brands including Exceleram and Kingston. Some of the memory tested operates at the same speed, whereas others are slightly different which will obviously show in our results.
When testing memory modules, we run them at the manufacturer’s specified speeds, timings and voltages to give the stock results that a consumer would be greeted with.
Each test is run 3 times to ascertain concise results and to rule out the chance of a fluke result in the various tests that we ran. These tests included all of the vital memory tests contained in Aida64. These tests give accurate results of the memory’s read, write and copy speeds as well as the memory latency.
