Cryorig A40 Ultimate 240mm AIO Hybrid CPU Cooler

Stock clocks shouldn’t be hard for any CPU cooler these days, but the A40 made fairly easy work of them anyway. The Ultimate managed just +24c above ambient, which is just +1c more than the much larger 280mm radiator of the Cryorig A80.
Pushing the temperatures up while overclocking proved easy for the A40 Ultimate at just +34c and amazingly the same as the Cryorig A80, although that’s a 280mm thin radiator, this is a 240mm thick radiator.
The A40 managed a steady 40dBa throughout stock testing, which is pretty quiet and unlikely to be of concern, especially in a chassis and not on an open air test bench like the one we use.
Amazingly, the A40 was still on par with the A80, and by the tiniest margin, a little bit louder, but you wouldn’t notice it was without the use of a decibel meter as they’re both pretty quiet overall. This is great, as it means you could comfortably up the fan RPM for better cooling performance without much sacrifice to acoustics.
