Cryorig H5 Universal CPU Air Cooler Review

A Closer Look
The H5 Ultimate is a great looking cooler, from the moment you take it out of the box it’s easy to see this is a very well made and stylish product. The fan comes pre-fitted to the front, but can be moved to either side and if you want to add a second fan, there are two more fan clips included in the box to do so.
The fin array is well designed, with a honeycomb design on the front that allows maximum airflow in, but narrow slots at the back, as well as closed off sides to help distribute the air throughout the cooler and help move more heat as quickly as possible.
There are four heat pipes in total which pass through the front and back of the cooler in a U-pattern, and if you look closer, you can see there are some staggered fins around the heat pipes, allowing more surface area to be packed into the cooling towers interior.
The cooler looks great from all sides too, wit ha gorgeous white cover right on the top, hiding all the heat pipe tips and keeping it looking neat and tidy. There are two holes in the top for screwing the cooler to your motherboard, but don’t worry, there’s a special extra long screwdriver included in the box to help with the installation process.
There’s a large and nicely polished contact plate on the bottom, which is clamped firmly around the four heat pipes, giving them good coverage over the CPU. The screws for attaching the cooler to the motherboard mounting plate are pre-installed, so that makes things easier, and finally there is another one of those lovely white covers on the base, keeping the design looking nice and uniform.
