Cryorig H7 CPU Cooler Review

Final Thoughts
Price
The Cryorig H7 proved hard to find in most popular retailers here in the UK, fortunately, I managed to track at least one down from Alternate.co.uk for a very impressive £25.49. Those in the US can get it for an equally impressive $34.50 from Newegg.
Overview
I’m amazed by this cooler, it’s design and performance are pushing way above what I would expect for this price range. This is a seriously wallet friendly cooler, it’s pennies more than the ever popular CPU cooler “standard” for system builders, the Cooler Master Hyper 212. Yet as much as I have love and appreciation for the Hyper 212, this cooler looks better, performs better, runs quieter and is just all round better. Of course, that’s no big surprise, the 212 has been on the market for ages now.
Build quality is superb on the Cryorig H7, you can see it in the pictures alone that this is a premium looking product and from my experience with it, it feels like a premium product too. The fan looks great, the hive fin stack is a cool feature, the heat-pipe design is very effective and the size of the cooler doesn’t conflict with your RAM modules. Then you’ve got the super easy to use X-Bar Quick Mount System; the easiest CPU cooler mount I’ve ever used.
A lot of thought has gone into this cooler and it shows, respectable performance, stunning design and a price tag that won’t hurt your wallet. Easily one of the best coolers on the market and I hope to see ever greater things from Cryorig in the not too distant future.
Pros
- Great aesthetics
- Easy to install/remove
- Respectable cooling/acoustic performance
- Ram compatibility
- Affordable
Cons
- Limited retail availability
“The Cryorig H7 is by far one of my all time favourite coolers. It’s not the coolest, nor is it the quietest, but when it comes to getting a great return on investment, you’ll struggle to find anything better for less. Those on a tight budget who need a reliable and great looking cooler, this is the one to buy!”
Thank you Cryorig for providing us with this sample.
