The Cryorig H7 Quad Lumi RGB CPU cooler is available now for a very reasonable £59.99. Sure, that’s not exactly a bargain either, but with the overall quality and performance, it’s certainly competitive in today’s market.
I really can’t fault this cooler at all. Normally, I’ll have a little bit more going in the pros and cons at the back of my mind, but it’s honestly just a straightforward great product. Of course, Cryorig has a solid reputation for fantastic build quality and reliable performance, and they’re not about to throw all that away. The H7 looks and feels every bit a premium quality piece of hardware.
Obviously, it has RGB, it’s good to see that there are some unique applications of it here. It’s not just another RGB fan stuck on a 2016 model of a product. The brands that did that know who they are. Integrating the lighting into the top cover, and adding the under lighting is a nice touch and it’s nowhere near in your face as some RGB products on the market. Being able to tweak it using CAM is nice too, even more so for NZXT users who already use the software.
The overall cooling and acoustic performance of this cooler are better than I expected. Of course, I expected it to be pretty good anyway. For a single 120mm fan, and a single block cooler, it’s up there with the best. Sure, it’s not on the same level as the Noctua, but it’s smaller, slightly cheaper, and a little more aesthetically pleasing. Overall, I chalk that up as a big win for Cryorig.
