Although Cryorig has been busy expanding with their chassis offering, they have not forgotten their bread and butter which is cooling. Their latest announcement involves a new variant of their QF120 fan which they bundle with some of their coolers. The new upgrade brings LED lighting to these QF120 fans. It swaps out the white fan blades for a transparent one so that the LED will disperse through out. Needless to say, the aesthetic effects are pretty snazzy.
Each Cryorig QF120 LED fan measure 120 x 120 x 25.4mm with a quad-air inlet+ frame design. This allows the fan to allow for more intake and greater airflow in comparison to standard frames. The fan itself uses High Precision Low Noise bearings for stable performance from 600 to 2200 RPM range.
That is only on the fastest Performance range QF120 LED version. Cryorig also offers the fan in two other variants: Silent and Balance. The Silent version has an operating range of 200 to 1000 RPM, while the Balanced version operates at 330 to 1600 RPM. To keep the noise even lower, vibration absorbers on the corners soak up any metal to frame contact. So even the Performance range can be relatively quiet like the Silent and Balanced versions.
