Cooling manufacturer CRYORIG is announcing two new CPU cooler series ahead of their Computex 2017 showcase. The CRYORIG R5 single-tower CPU cooler and the Cu series enhanced coolers. The Cu Series features the best of their previously released CRYORIG CPU air coolers outfitted with brand new pure copper fins. The first of the series to receive the Copper enhanced treatment is the mini-ITX low-profile C7, with more options to follow soon.
Aside from the enhanced Cu edition coolers, CRYORIG is introducing the new R5 single-tower to their high-end cooling line. It is essentially the single-tower version of the CRYORIG R1. It can mount two 140mm fans at the front and back, while maintaining RAM clearance. This is true even for quad-channel X99/X299 platforms which have a DIMM slot on both sides.
The CRYORIG R5 has a convex-align base contact surface. It is outfitted with six nickel-plated copper heatpipes, taking heat from the CPU and distributing it up to the aluminum fin stack. The heat is dispersed by a pair of CRORIG XF140 fans. These fans operate from 800 to 1,400 RPM and can be PWM controlled.
Besides the R5 and Cu Series, the CRYORIG Taku chassis will also be in exhibition during Computex 2017. CRYORIG’s booth is at Nangan Exhibition Hall 1, 1st Floor booth i1105 from May 30th to June 3rd.
