When it comes to modern first person shooters, it’s hard to find more iconic titles than Crysis and Crysis: Warhead. I’m sure that most of you already played and even finished these games by now, but it’s never a bad idea to re-visit them if you’re feeling nostalgic, especially since they’re both available on GOG now with no DRM whatsoever. In the first Crysis game, you’ll be able to take on the role of Jake “Nomad” Dunn, who is a part of something called Raptor Team. The team is sent over to the Philippines and eventually discovers an actual alien invasion of Earth, and that’s where things get really interesting.
As for Crysis: Warhead, you’ll be able to see the world through the eyes of sergeant Sykes, who is tasked with recovering an important piece of cargo from behind enemy lines. The best news is that both of these games benefit from a 60% discount from GOG until November 3, so it’s really a good time to pick them up if you never got around to playing them. As far as the Crysis series is concerned, these are undoubtedly some of the best installments, and even though they came out quite a few years ago, they’re still likely to give your GPU a run for its money at max settings.
