Cubitek Mini Cube Mini-ITX Chassis Review

Total build time for this chassis was only around 20mins and while it may look a bit scruffy here, that is far from the case. What you have to remember is that I have a large GPU in here, an M-ITX board and our Silver Stone PSU in what is a very compact and minimalist design chassis and while there is cable management I could have used, it wouldn’t have made much difference since these cables would still need to be connected to our GPU and any excess cable is already bundled neatly out of the way.

You can see better here that there is still a huge amount of space behind out GPU and PSU and any airflow that gets drawn in from under the chassis shouldn’t be too obstructed. At least that would be true if I hadn’t installed our SSD on the bottom mount for demonstration purposes, you could of course mount a fan in this spot and if I’m honest, I recommend you do just that.

Much to my surprise I didn’t actually have a 90mm fan that I could use for that rear exhaust, but you can see there is plenty of room for airflow to and from any rear fans. I would also suggest that you purchase a rear exhaust GPU for a chassis like this, otherwise your GPU may get a little toasty due to its proximity to the PSU.

Around the back everything is looking neat and tidy and bar the missing exhaust fan it’s a clean looking build.
