Aluminium cases are becoming increasingly more popular these days even with the larger price premium they command. Cubitek have just announced a new addition to their case portfolio and they couldn’t have announced a more “in-fashion” case with it being both mini-ITX and aluminium. Their new “Mini Center” case is made from entirely from brushed aluminium and comes in both black or silver options.
The Cubitek Mini Center is suitable for HTPCs, stylish office PCs or simply small form factor systems. It can support coolers up to 80mm in height, power supplies up to 150mm (standard form factor) in length and graphics cards up to 7 inches in length with top PCIe connectors (not end ones as there won’t be room to plug cables in).
The case features no fan mounts so uses a “passive” design. Availability is expected in August with an MSRP of $59.90 excluding VAT.
