Witcher 3 is an action role-playing video game set in an open world environment. It provides awesome experience with stunning graphics, but there is always space for improvement and that is where mod kicks in. Today, a modder ‘KNG’ has released a mod which replaces the default lighting definitions with the one used for cut scene illumination in the game. The mod basically enhances the lighting conditions to make it look much more natural.
This mod makes the game looks like what it was teased last year, but not quite there yet. There is no significant frames-per-second drop. The mod is not compatible with sweetfx settings so make sure that you disable them. The shadows in some places are very dark so it may take some getting used to. This is still a work in progress project so do expect bugs and make sure to report them. Although, the players who have tried the mod have not faced any issues yet.
Instructions for Installation.
As KNG noted, this mod is compatible with the latest 1.05 version of the game. The Mod itself can be downloaded from here.
