Gaming Performance
Grand Theft Auto 5
Grand Theft Auto V’s ridiculously detailed environment and luscious visual quality can pose a problem for many systems at higher resolutions. The Cyberpower Infinity X55 Pro easily coped with the technical challenge and posted marvellous performance numbers. When paired with a 1440P display, there are moments when the frame-rate dips by a noticeable amount. However, this is easily resolved by reducing AF or other settings.
Metro Last Light
The R9 390 offers a very fluid framerate at 1920×1080 and manages to record good performance on a 2560×1440 display. However, it lingers behind slightly compared to some GTX 970 machines when you opt for a lower resolution.
Tomb Raider
Here we can see the system has a huge advantage compared to similar specifications and posts astounding figures at multiple resolutions. This is a wonderful achievement and exemplifies the superb gaming experience you can expect.
Bioshock Infinite
As expected, the frame-rate in Bioshock Infinite stays well above 60 even when you’re utilising a 1440P panel. The data shows that machines in this price point are evenly matched and attain very similar numbers.
