Cyberpower PC ‘Ultra Fusion’ AMD Gaming System Review

Temperatures
Measuring temperatures is all about being consistent therefore we keep a steady eye on monitoring the ambient room temperature to make sure that it stays the same. While this is constantly being monitored, we measure the idle temperature of the card using HWMonitor over a 15 minute period. Once this has been recorded, we set FurMark into motion for 15 minutes and record the results again.
When we look at the temperature levels and bring back the acoustics back in to the equation, it is now understandable why this system is a little louder over what I would call typical. The Fx-9590 is not a cool running processor, especially when it has eight cores and a whopping 4.7GHz core clock speed – as seen across many reviews, this chip does run hot and keeping it cool can be a bit of a challenge. In the long run a full on water cooling loop will benefit both the core temperatures but also the overall system acoustics.
