I gave up on CyberPunk 2077 not too long after launch, but I was one of the lucky few who managed to get through the campaign without any major issues, albeit plenty of smaller issues, but I still had fun. I’ve been back to see what it looks like with the new updates, content, Path Tracing and more, but overall, I just can’t find any joy in the gameplay anymore. However, if you’re not a grumpy old gamer like me and like treading old ground, then you’ll be happy to see CyberPunk is still getting plenty of updates and patches!
Patch 2.12 for Cyberpunk 2077 and Phantom Liberty is being rolled out on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Largely it addresses issues that were not fixed or were introduced since the release of Patch 2.11, such as the key bindings issue.
There’s now a fix to prevent a crashing bug for those trying to play on SteamDeck with Ray Tracing enabled, not that I can imagine why anyone would even bloody try such a thing. They’ve also fixed an issue where Razer Chroma would crash the game, but from my experience in the past, Razer Chroma caused lots of other things to crash, which is why I switched to Corsair… but that’s a different story.
There are quite a few fixes though, so be sure to check out the list of changes below for details!
