Cyborg F.R.E.Q. 5 Stereo Gaming Headset PC Review
Peter Donnell / 12 years ago
Starting at the front we can see there are all kinds of style touches to the packaging here, with everything front a funky angular design, to the cyborg logo and back ground images littered around the box. We can also see in the top left that the headset connects to both PC, MP3 player and Phones, and that it sports 50mm speakers. In the centre we have few words about the headsets tough yet lightweight design that gives it strength and adjustability.
Around the back of the box you can also get a peak at the detachable microphone through the boxes rear window, plus a brief run down of the headsets main specifications.
- Neodymium magnets –N38 Grade
- Diaphragm material – Mylar /PET 50mm
- Voice Coil – Copper Round edge wound
- Frequency Response -20Hz – 20KHz
- Cable length – Braided 2.0m (USB) / Braided 1.0m (3.5mm)
There isn’t much in the way of extras in the box, but there doesn’t really need to be, but you do get the headset (obviously), a very cool looking microphone, two breakaway cables, one with a 3.5mm jack plug for mp3 player and mobile phones, the other with a standard USB connection for use with PC, as well as a couple of setup flyers and the instruction booklet.
