Cyrodiil Mod For Skyrim Has More Voice Lines Than Skyrim

I don’t say this lightly when I say this may be one of the best upcoming mods for the Elder Scrolls V ever considering Nexus Mods has 129,000 mods split between Skyrim and Skyrim Special Edition. What makes this such a dramatic statement is that many of the mods now made for Skyrim are basically other games inside games for example the upcoming Skyblivion.

Skyrim Cyrodiil Mod

The mod in question is Beyond Skyrim and has been in development since 2012 and will be close to its 14th year in development and just one year away from how long Skyrim itself took to develop. The mod aims to bring the region of Cyrodiil, which for those unfamiliar, is where the game Oblivion took place.

The mod will be stuffed full of tons of settlements, dungeons, quests and entirely rebuilt regions in the game so this is why I think it will become one of the best mods for Skyrim ever.

Skyrim Cyrodiil Voice Lines

Now what might be one of the most interesting things about this whole mod is the fact that it will be fully voiced. Currently, Beyond Skyrim uses AI voice acting, which the team behind the mod make very clear in the video that real voice acting will be added once the majority of Cyrodiil is complete.

“the majority of Cyrodiil is complete to achieve consistency.”

Whether they actually do switch to real voice lines is yet to be seen with just making the mod being a colossal task taking 14 years to make. The mod has already exceeded the amount of voice lines that Skyrim released with.

“This will be a major task, as we’ve already surpassed the amount of voice lines in vanilla Skyrim.”

To give you a scale of how insane that is, Bethesda said before Skyrim’s release that the game, without any DLC, had over 60,000 lines of dialogue.

Currently, there is no release date for Beyond Skyrim but You can download Beyond Skyrim’s version of Bruma here right now with it containing the voice acting you will get on the full release of the mod.
