A Closer Look
The simple yet stylish design of D-Link’s DIR-890L allows us to get through this page quite fast as all the details are centered around a few areas. On the top center is a list of LEDs for power, WAN, WLAN, and USB.
The rear side has all the available ports listed neatly next to each other, starting with the USB 3.0 and USB 2.0 port followed for a reset pinhole and a WPS button for one-click connection to other wireless devices.
Next up are the four Gigabit Ethernet LAN ports followed by the Gigabit Ethernet WAN port, a hard-power button, and the 12V DC-in.
The included power adapter can deliver 12V and 5A which should equal 60W.
The bottom has a sticker in the middle describing the details such as port locations, serial number, hardware information, and similar. On both sides next to the sticker are the holes for wall-mounting the router.
