D-Link DCS-4603 PoE Dome Camera
Vigilance Full HD PoE Dome Camera (DCS-4603)
The D-Link Vigilance DCS-4603 is only an indoor camera, but it has higher resolution with its 3 Megapixel Full HD sensor. The PoE camera can record great quality at daytime as well as nighttime. That is thanks to the integrated IR LEDs and wide dynamic range. It is compact and easy to mount, and it also features 3D noise reduction.
Crisp Video Recording
With the Vigilance DCS-4603, you get security in High Definition. The 3-megapixel video with 30 FPS gives you a clear view of what’s going on. The 16 built-in IR LEDs light up a complete darkness for up to 10 metres, allowing your security system to work as well at night as it does during the day.
D-Link also added the Wide Dynamic Range feature which allows for easy identification of subjects in any lighting. That includes digital WDR video enhancements. The 3D filter reduces noise in low-light environments which otherwise often is an issue. Not so here and you should get clear and smooth images.
The DCS-4603 provides real-time video compression too with H.264 and MJPEG codecs too. This feature helps to maximise the bandwidth efficiency and improve the image quality. In fact, it can handle simultaneous triple format compression.
When Adjustment Matters
The dome shape allows for flexible adjustments on three axes. The Full HD PoE Dome Network Camera’s unique design with 3-axis adjustment allows for precise positioning of the lens, supporting non-motorized 340° pan, 340° rotation and 60° tilt.
When you need a closer look at subjects, the camera supports electronic pan, tilt, and zoom (ePTZ). The camera also comes with configurable motion sensors and privacy mask settings, so you always know what’s happening.
Flexible Placement
Placement is easy when you’re dealing with PoE devices. You only need a single cable to connect the DCS-4603, but it does support direct power input too. It is fully compliant with 802.3af. With fewer cables, you need to drill fewer holes. You don’t need to worry about outlet positions either.
