Overwatch is one of the biggest games on the planet with over 25 million active players, so it is only natural for Blizzard Entertainment to use its popularity to leverage support for their other projects. To get more players to check out their Heroes of the Storm, Blizzard is holding a new event called Nexus Challenge 2.0 which will give Overwatch players the incentive of getting the new Officer D.VA skin if they play Heroes of the Storm with friends.
D.Va is a 19-year old Korean Overwatch mech pilot who is one of the most popular characters in the popular shoot-em up. The bonus Officer D.VA skin, re-imagines her as a cop complete with a police-cruiser themed make-over for her signature pink mech. Nexus Challenge 2.0, which runs for four weeks will also give a weekly bonus for players, requiring that they play at least five games per week with a friend in quick match, ranked or unranked modes to secure the items.
