Dark Souls 3 is scheduled for a Japan release on March 24, 2016, while the rest of the world will be able to purchase it on April 12, 2016. Developed by From Software and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment, the fourth entry in the “Souls” series will be released for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Microsoft Windows, and it will undoubtedly torture its players with its brutal difficulty. Judging by the game’s gameplay reveal trailer that was posted on YouTube in August, the newest Dark Souls will feature some impressive graphics, and now it’s time to find out exactly what kind of PC you’ll need if you plan to skip on the console versions.
The minimum official requirements suggest an AMD A8 3870 3.6 GHz or an Intel Core i3 2100 3.1Ghz as far as the CPU is concerned while the graphics card should be a GeForce GTX 465 or an ATI Radeon TM HD 6870. As for the recommended specs, they include an AMD FX 8150 3.6 GHz or an Intel Core i7 2600 3.4 GHz complemented by a GeForce GTX 750 or an ATI Radeon HD 7850. Both the minimum and recommended requirements ask for 8 GB RAM, which is to be expected from a modern title. However, the processor and graphics card requirements are relatively low, which means that Dark Souls 3 is not likely to be very demanding. Below you will find a complete list of PC requirements for this upcoming title.
