Thanks to Steam TurnBasedThursdayFest which is running from April 4-8th the already massively popular roguelike has had a recent surge in players which has skyrocketed the Steam charts to over 15,000 players and doing this in under 48 hours!
Like I said the game has always been popular and managed to maintain a steady player count even when the 2nd game in the series came out. But now with the game being cheaper than ever falling to £2.09/$2.65, it is a steal and making it nearly as popular as when it was first released nearly 8 years ago.
Darkest Dungeon is a challenging gothic roguelike turn-based RPG about the psychological stresses of adventuring. Recruit, train, and lead a team of flawed heroes against unimaginable horrors, stress, disease, and the ever-encroaching dark. Can you keep your heroes together when all hope is lost?
If you are interested because I certainly am, Darkest Dungeon has never been cheaper so be quick to grab the game for yourself, you can just go here and be quick because there isn’t long left on the Steam sale!
