Upcoming real-time strategy game Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War III is currently scheduled for an April 27 worldwide release, and in order to help us prepare, SEGA and Relic have just unveiled the official PC requirements for this title. As with most strategy games, this one won’t require a very powerful rig in order to be played properly, as the minimum requirements include a 3GHz i3 or AMD equivalent, as well as an Nvidia GeForce GTX 460 or an AMD Radeon 6950, both of which are pretty old cards. However, those of you who are looking to play this game in 3v3 multiplayer mode will need a true quad physical core i5 or AMD equivalent.
The recommended specs are a bit more demanding, with a 3GHz i5 and an Nvidia GTX 770 or an AMD Radeon 7970, while the RAM requirement jumps up from 4GB to 8GB. The game will be based on DirectX 11, and it will require an internet connection for progression. You can have a look at the complete requirements for Dawn of War III below.
