World-famous StarCraft player and e-sports commentator Sean Plott – better known online as Day[9] – is taking a break from shoutcasting for a weekend and will take part in the Magic: The Gathering Pro Tour – Dragon’s Maze taking place May 17-19!

Sean started playing Magic over a decade ago, drafts several times each week, and participated in Grand Prix San Jose last year. He had this to say about the upcoming Pro Tour:

“It’s a great honor to be participating in the Pro Tour,” Plott said. “I’ve spent many a weekend watching coverage via Twitch and I can’t wait to see what it’s like on the other side of the camera! I’ve played games competitively my whole life and I love the thrill of stepping into the arena to battle.”

Pro Tour – Dragon’s Maze features the Return to Ravnica Block Constructed and Return to Ravnica Block Booster Draft formats.

The live coverage of Pro Tour Dragon’s Maze begins Friday, May 17, on DailyMTG.com and twitch.tv/magicprotour. The live video stream starts Friday at 9 a.m. San Diego time. Brian David-Marshall, Rich Hagon, Rashad Miller, Zac Hill, Marshall Sutcliffe, and Sheldon Menery will bring you round-by-round coverage, player interviews, deck techs, and behind-the-scenes information from inside Magic R&D. Fans can stay on top of every tidbit leading up to the Pro Tour and all the weekend’s action on Twitter by using the official hashtag, #ptdgm.
