The system requirements for Dead Island 2 have been revealed with the minimum, recommended, high and ultra requirements.
Dead Island 2 is the highly anticipated sequel to Dead Island and despite its Island name it sees you surviving the zombie apocalypse in Los Angeles. The Game has seen several delays but now with the release of the system requirements we may likely see it at its current launch date of April 21st 2023. Below you can see the requirements for Dead Island 2.
The two important requirements are minimum and recommended and with Dead Island 2, achieving the minimum requirements of 1080p at 30FPS seems to be an easy task. With anything above AMD FX-9590 or i7-7700HQ paired with a Radeon RX 480 or a GTX 1060 anyone with components from the last 5 or so years can easily achieve a playable experience. To achieve a 1080p 60FPS experience, however, you will be looking at more recent components though not too high-end with only a 5600x or an i9-9900k with a Radeon RX 6600XT or RTX 2070 super. Also included are the 1440p and 4k 60fps requirements which are set to require some of the latest top-end components with Intel’s 12th and 13th gen as well as the Ryzen 7000 series.
Of course, system requirements are hit and miss and the optimisation for this game is likely to be dreadful like most other titles released recently, especially those that have been delayed countless times.
