The Dead Space Remake undoubtedly represents one of the most highly-anticipated gaming releases for fans of survival horror titles. With it supposedly set for release next month, however, this clearly always raises a little doubt as to whether the date will be fully adhered to. In this modern age, delays are, of course, hardly uncommon.
Well, in this regard we have some excellent news as following an official Twitter post from developer Motive Studio, they have just confirmed that the Dead Space Remake has officially gone Gold!
WE ARE WHOLE AGAIN. The entire Motive team is excited to announce that Dead Space has gone gold! Thanks to all the fans who supported us this far. See you all on January 27th! pic.twitter.com/ifwcgs4Ofe

Dead Space Remake – Officially Gold
So, for those of you unfamiliar with the terminology, going ‘Gold’ effectively means that development on the title has been fully concluded. So, in a more traditional sense, this would be the point where production of the physical copies would start pending the official release date. – In blunt terms though, EA Games and Motive Studio are basically saying Dead Space Remake is ready, we’re now just waiting for the January 27th release date!
As we have noted before on this subject, however, those of you potentially planning to play this on PC might just want to check your hardware as the recommended requirements for this title are certainly a little on the higher-than-usual side. Particularly so in regards to the CPU.
