The original Deadly Premonition is something of a cult classic among gamers. Not, incidentally, because it’s a fantastic title. In fact, quite the contrary. Put simply, it’s one of those somewhat rare games that are deemed to be so bad, that they’re actually good. However, when it came to Deadly Premonition 2, many were disappointed to find that it was released as a Nintendo Switch exclusive. Following a report via DSOGaming, however, information reportedly coming from internal sources is claiming that a PC port is imminently set to be launched!
In the report, an internal document from developer/publisher Thunderful Group has cited that they are currently working on the Deadly Premonition 2 PC port and, more so, on something that will undoubtedly make many of you very happy; it is planned to be released on Steam. So, in other words, Epic Games has not (yet) managed to get their hands on this as the latest addition to their numerous ‘exclusivity’ deals.
At the time of writing, it should be noted that there is still nothing categorically confirming this to be true and, as such, officially speaking, Deadly Premonition 2 is still a Nintendo Switch exclusive. – Given that this information has come from an internal document, however, all we can say is that you can almost certainly expect to hear something about this port in the very near future!
