Death Stranding (specifically the PC port) is, without a doubt, one of the best games I’ve played in recent memory. – It takes a lot these days for a title to grab my attention for 40+ hours, but I did so here with more than just a little bit of pleasure. And yes, this is even despite the fact that, like the majority of Hideo Kojima games, I had to stay up to around 2 AM because of an ending sequence that basically lasted for around 4 hours!
Yes, admittedly, Death Stranding is not a game everyone will enjoy. For me though, as above, it’s one of the greatest games I’ve encountered in a long time.
If you haven’t had the chance to play it yourself yet, however, then there’s some potentially excellent news. Following an official Twitter post from ‘@XboxGamePassPC‘ it seems that Death Stranding may be the next big title to finally land on the subscription platform!
We should note that the rumours of Death Stranding arriving on Xbox PC Game Pass are not new. In fact, it’s a subject that’s been well-speculated on for over 6-months now. Following a Twitter post celebrating a new background image, however, and one that looks suspiciously similar to the location in the image above, this is a bit of a lead balloon hint that Death Stranding might finally be set to arrive.
Now, of course, this might be putting two and two together and coming up with five. If nothing else though, if this is happening, then it’s the perfect opportunity for many to finally check out Death Stranding on PC. And particularly so given that this will almost certainly be the newly revised ‘Directors Cut’ version.
With that being said though, I still think that regardless of whether this new inclusion is happening or not, Xbox PC Game Pass still represents some excellent value for money. And especially so if you run it in conjunction on the ‘Ultimate’ tier with an Xbox console. – Better still, if you’ve never tried it before, Microsoft regularly offers the first month for just £1, so if you want to learn more about it, click the link here!
