Being such a relatively small design, we never expected big things in terms of performance from the DeepCool AK400 WH. Despite this, however, while clearly not being able to quite stack up against larger air coolers or, of course, AIO models, it still provided results that were more than impressive given the overall size of the design.
Yes, CPU temperatures do get a little high at 100% load (in both stock and overclocked settings), but you will note that the acoustic performance is surprisingly good. As such, for those of you willing to have a poke in the BIOS PWM settings, a truly excellent balance can undoubtedly be found here to get those CPU figures a few degrees lower at likely very little acoustic cost.
Yes, the DeepCool AK400 WH is small, but the results clearly show that it’s a solid cooler, and in the right hands, almost certainly one that’s capable of punching well above its weight!
