While DeepCool continues its somewhat minimalist approach to packaging, it’s hard to deny that, from a visual first-impression kind of perspective, the boxwork for the AK400 ZERO DARK PLUS is hardly impressive. – The front of the box does at least, however, go big and bold with a nice clear image of the cooler on display which, in the grand scheme of things, does pretty much tell you what it is at a glance.

In terms of other details though, the DeepCool AK400 ZERO DARK PLUS hardly jumps out at you. The only other factor of note is the rear which lists the product specifications and… Yeah, that’s about it. – Overall, it’s functional, but the packaging for this cooler is hardly impressive.

Accessories!

Being a relatively straightforward air cooler design, it shouldn’t come as any surprise to see that the accessories for the DeepCool AK400 ZERO DARK PLUS are rather light. – You get a product manual, all the parts to successfully fit it to your system, and in something of a nice bonus that I always appreciate, DeepCool also provides you with a twin-splitter cable so you can attach both of the fans to a single PWM port.

A small point I know, but it always irks me somewhat when you get a twin fan cooler (or even a triple-fan AIO) and the manufacturer never bothers to give you a splitter cable to at least try and help you with the management/organisation side of things. So, in this regard, DeepCool has already won some points from me!
