Although availability among UK retailers is currently a bit sketchy, it would appear that the DeepCool AK500 will cost you something in the region of £55-£65. A price which has it well below other comparative high-performance air coolers while, in my opinion, offering an aesthetic that is vastly superior.
Some may dislike the DeepCool AK500 for being a little bland or unexciting. For me though, it’s all about performance, quality, and functionality. And with this in mind, the DeepCool AK500 is an absolute stormer. Not only does it look sleek and stylish, but it also clearly comes with an exceptionally high build quality too. – Throw that in with some amazing levels of performance and this is the total package!
The DeepCool AK500 ticks all of the right boxes for me. While some may dislike the lack of ARGB lighting, a lot of consumers simply want strong levels of affordable performance and the DeepCool AK500 has that in abundance. – In fact, its performance almost somewhat betrays its moderately benign price tag.
If you’re looking for a CPU cooler for under circa £60, this is honestly one of the best around at the moment. Taking this a step further, I’d argue that this outperforms many alternative cooling solutions that can cost at least £20-£30 more while having the benefit of immeasurably more attract and compatible aesthetics.
Put simply, if I needed a CPU cooler right now, I’d have no hesitation in choosing this!
