DeepCool AK620 Digital CPU Cooler Review

Stock Temperatures
At stock settings, the DeepCool AK620 Digital delivered strong idle temperatures of just 26c, and even at load, hitting 83c puts it dead in line with the Noctua NH-U12A, which is surprising given the AK620 Digital is around £30-40 cheaper!
Overclocked Temperatures
Applying fixed clocks and lowering our voltage saw performance increase, but also saw temperatures drop even further, to just 71c under load, it actually kept up with many expensive AIO coolers!
Stock Acoustics
The acoustics are great too, maxing out at just 41 dBa under load, it was just 1 dBa louder than the Noctua NH-U12A, not that I could tell the difference given its such a small difference.
Overclocked Acoustics
Even when overclocked, the noise levels remained the same, and it’s here that DeepCool whipped Noctua again, beating them by 3 dBa in this test, which is frankly amazing.
Cinebench R23
It’s not like performance is slow either, scoring 26656 in the Cinebench R23 all-core test, putting it a touch behind the NH-U12A, but not by much.
But with our optimised settings, that went up to 27313, pretty much identical to the larger Noctua D15S. Remember, overclocking also saw no increase in noise, and the temperatures dropped significantly thanks to our undervolting.
