DeepCool AK620 WH High-Performance Air CPU Cooler Review

Performance
Although the DeepCool AK620 WH is quite a big air cooler, as we’ve noted earlier in this review, it’s certainly not an absolute monster in terms of size. DeepCool has definitely attempted to find a compromise here that allowed the AK620 WH to offer good performance in combination with appealing aesthetics. – Put simply, the only way they could really make this perform better would be to have made the radiator size even bigger which, by proxy, would’ve then affected the overall look and sleekness when installed in a case.
It’s a tricky tightrope to walk, but based on the results, DeepCool has done an excellent balancing act here. The DeepCool AK620 WH is by no means one of the best CPU coolers we have ever tested, but even despite its relatively small stature as a ‘high-performance’ design, it still provided temperature results well within the comparative remits of good quality (and notably more expensive) 240mm AIO models.
At stock levels, the CPU temperatures were excellent for an air cooler of this size and when combined with relatively low acoustic output, it performs more than admirably as a total package. – More so, this is no slouch in terms of overclocking either with the DeepCool AK620 WH being an entirely viable option for those looking to squeeze a bit more performance out of their processors.
