DeepCool D-Shield Mid-Tower Chassis Revealed

DeepCool D-Shield Mid-Tower Chassis Revealed

DeepCool has just announced their latest chassis, the D-Shield, an ATX mid-tower that looks set to offer plenty of features for a competitive price. With a huge faux-metal front panel, the chassis dark design gives off the vibe of an aluminium finish, and offers up a huge side panel window to show off your new build/hardware.

The internal layout of the chassis isn’t offering much in the way of innovation, but it looks like it ticks all the right boxes, with some pre-installed standoffs, cable routing cut-outs, and a good size PSU shroud to keep your cables and storage bays out of sight. there’s room here for expansion cards of up to 350mm, as well as 160mm tall CPU coolers, as well as 2 x 2.5″ drive mounts directly on the motherboard tray.

The back of the chassis nods towards this being a budget model, with snap-off expansion slot covers being the tell-tale sign.

Tucked under that PSU shroud, you’ll find a few hard drive bays, helping keep the front part of the chassis looking neat and tidy, which is never a bad thing when you’ve go ta big side panel window.

The steel construction chassis looks pretty decent for a budget model, or at least, we hope it’s a budget model, as DeepCool have yet to reveal official pricing.
