DeepCool GamerStorm Castle 280EX CPU Cooler Review

Exterior Packaging
The front of the packaging is certainly quite eye-catching with a nice, large, and clear image of the cooler present. While it is a little light on specific details, it does indicate that this product is ARGB compatible across various motherboard platforms. Useful stuff if you plan for this to be an addition to your systems rainbow of colors!
Compared to the front, the rear of the packaging is rather bland with most of the space taken up with the various language localizations of the coolers main features. On the plus side, however, you are given a list of the full-specifications as well as the individual component dimensions. While it’s not exactly flashy, it does pretty much tell you everything you could want to know.
Accessories!
You’re certainly not left wanting in terms of the accessories and, in addition, the organization of them is very good. While some ‘common’ components come within the same packaging, others are specifically itemized for AMD or Intel socket types.
In addition to the standard fare, you also get a manual RGB controller (which, presuming you don’t have an ARGB compatible motherboard, is always nice to see) as well as a pump head cover plate which you can use to add a bit more customization to the design. More on this later in the review!
Inside The Box
Although this isn’t something we usually comment upon, it should be noted that the internal packaging for this cooler is fantastic. Set within specifically cut styrofoam, the chances of this getting damaged in transit is completely removed! Well, unless a steam roller runs over it!
